NEON DAYS:
The groundbreaking of
the new library in Neon will be on Septmeber 11, 2011 at 1:00PM.The public
is invited to this wondrous event.
Pie contest will be held at the library on Friday, Septmeber 9. Call the library at 606 855 7913 to participate.
@ the Jenkins Public Library Library staring on July 25,
2011 at 5:30 PM.
We are looking for 25 families who will enjoy reading books, story telling,
arts and crafts.
Meals and transportation will be provided. This is an
enjoyable six weeks program aimed at promoting the love of reading and
creating bonding time among members of the families.

Summer Reading Program: will begin on June 16 -July 21,
2011. To kick off our Summer Reading, the Madcap Puppets from CIicinnati,
Ohio will present : Brothers Wright. This is a story of the inventors
of the airplane in puppet form. Come and be enchanted. The event will
start at 6:00PM, June 16 at the Harry M. Caudill memorial Library.

Madcap Puppets will kick
off Summer Reading Program
Mark your calendars. June 16 (Thursday) at 6:30 PM will
be our big kick off event. This professional group will mesmerized adults
and children with the adventures of the Flight of the Wright Brothers.
Do not miss it.
CHRISTMAS PARADE
Mark your Calendars! Christmas Parade, arts and crafts, music, visit with Santa, and window displays will be on December 1 in downtown Whitesburg.
