AUTOMATION PROJECT for all the libraries is underway and will be functional by October 2004. A $30,000.00 grant from the LSTA/KDLA and a local funding of $120,000.00 has made this project possible.
When
the project is completed, all the holdings of the four libraries and the
bookmobile will be available via the world wide web. Titles of books and
videos and materials can be accessed by anyone, anywhere with a computer.
Patrons can reserve, renew books and inquire status of their borrowed
items via the internet.

Halloween Party. Our annual most scaring and fun party will be on October 29, 2004 at 6:30 PM. The Main Library has been utilized as a polling place for local and national election this year and during the past. Halloween Party will be on October 29 (Friday) at 6:30 PM. Our winners for best costume at our Halloween Party were:
