Summer Reading 2009 "Be Creative at your Library"
June 18- Kick-off with Mark Comley, Magician 6:30 PM at
HMCL
June 25- Live Animal Show with Tammy Elza 3:00PM
July 2- Dulcimer making and playingwith Gary Jessey 11:30 AM
July 9- Line dancing with Ernestine Flint, 11:30 AM
July 16- Mountain music and talks with Don Amburgey, 11:30 AM
July 23- Ride in the fire truck , from the fire station, safety program,
games and ice cream party, 11:30 AM
- Children's story hour is every Thursday at 10:30 AM. Jenkins Headstart is scheduled on the same day at 9:30 AM.
- Outdoor Drama Organization meets every second Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM. Contact is Don Amburgey.
- Jenkins City Council meets every first Monday of the month at 6:00PM at the Jenkins City Hall.
- GED classes. For more information, contact the Letcher County Adult Education at (606) 633 9617.
